Founding-phase launch note for the Planetary Integrity Foundation.

Purpose

This launch note marks the first public structure of the Planetary Integrity Foundation.

It does not announce a completed institution, a deployed system, a certified protocol, a fundraising campaign or an adopted methodology.

It announces a founding-phase initiative: a public-interest effort to build open, reviewable decision integrity for major decisions whose consequences exceed the field of view of any single institution.

The problem

Major decisions are increasingly made under systemic complexity.

Infrastructure, finance, climate adaptation, AI adoption, energy transition and public priority decisions can reshape territories, communities, institutions and planetary systems for decades.

Yet consequences are often assessed too late, too narrowly, or without a visible record of evidence, assumptions, uncertainty and human accountability.

The world does not lack information. It lacks consequence visibility where power becomes commitment.

The initiative

Planetary Integrity Foundation is being developed to improve how material decisions are examined before they become irreversible.

The initiative is building a public structure around:

What comes next

The next phase is not mass visibility.

The next phase is a serious founding circle: advisors, contributors and institutions able to challenge and strengthen the protocol, governance model, AI authority limits, evidence discipline, use case framing and public credibility of the initiative.

The purpose is to improve quality before scale.

At this stage, the initiative does not claim:

Invitation

The founding phase is open to serious conversations with people and institutions aligned with open decision integrity.

Useful first conversations should help answer:

  • what risk should be avoided from the beginning?
  • what would make the governance model trustworthy?
  • which decision domains should be tested first?
  • what must Kairo never be allowed to do?
  • what evidence standards are necessary?
  • what would make serious institutions listen?
